    KDA was retained to develop a brand and signage program that would reposition the grounds as a year-round destination. As Canada’s oldest agricultural fair, KDA’s strategy was to integrate the integrity of the project’s original brand identity with that of a new and exciting version.

    The modernized brand was developed for multi-purpose applications and was used throughout KDA’s comprehensive program that included a dramatic gateway entrance with theatrical lighting; a ‘Victorian Industrial’ signage program for all buildings and exhibition halls; a fully integrated identity system for rotating event sponsorships; and merchandising brand application standards.
