Toronto, Ontario - November, 2002 - Kramer Design Associates Ltd. (KDA) is pleased to announce that seven (7) original designs created by the firm won top honors at the Sign Association of Canada's 2002 Sign Competition Awards, Signs Canada (November 2002), Canada's premier signage publication, showcases the winning projects. "We were definitely thrilled to have won half of the awards presented this year - and in so many categories. The range of materials, finishes and electronic components we incorporate in our designs, provides our clients with signs that uniquely reflect their business and competitively attract their customers." states Jeremy Kramer, Principal and Creative Director of KDA. This is the 3rd consecutive year that KDA has won awards in several categories. KDA Winning Signs Electronic Signs: 1. KDA's revenue-generating, multi-media signage program, in the heart of downtown Toronto, featuring six mixed-used advertising façades atop the popular Hard Rock Café.
2. The real-time LED and interactive plasma screen technology program was developed for the Canadian head office of Reuters.
Fascia Signs: The bright and animated entrance signage created for Georgian Downs Racetrack Slots.
Commercial Signs: The 'Spud's' 3D mascot sign developed for Niagara Falls' Great Canadian Midway entertainment facility.
Wooden Signs: Blue Mountain Resort's Red Devil logo sign that features a three-dimensional authentic sled.
Fascia Signs: The sophisticated entrance logo sign developed for DeBoer's flagship store. Illuminated Awnings: The elegant, streetscape-enhancing awnings designed for DeBoer's flagship store.
