| Microsoft has just awarded the "MechWarrior4 at Playdium" program a Marketing Innovation Award. The "MechWarrior4 at Playdium" program beat out all other current Microsoft marketing campaigns for this award, including the campaign for Microsoft ME, their latest operating system. | |
| Game merchandising and branding specialists Kramer Design Associates were responsible for the comprehensive design of the unique, out-of-home, game station environment for MechWarrior 4: Vengeance, which was launched at Playdium Toronto on November 30. | |
| Kramer Design Associates worked with Playdium Corp. and Microsoft Canada Co. to develop four unique multiplayer game stations from which players engage in heart-pounding BattleMech action with the continuing drama and unfolding storyline of the BattleTech universe. | |

| The Playdium Toronto installation is the first product of a permanent partnership among Microsoft Canada Co., Creative Technology, Ltd., a global leader in PC entertainment products, Future Shop, one of North America's largest computer and electronics retailers, and Playdium Entertainment Corp., a leader in the introduction and operation of large-scale location based entertainment centers in Canada, focused on bringing PC-based games to people across the country through permanent, interactive game labs at national Playdium locations and Famous Players theatres. | |
| Prior to the creation of the new MechWarrior game stations, Kramer Design Associates developed the "virtual experience" branding and graphic design strategy that has helped make game-playing at Playdium sites a rich and engaging experience overall. | |
