(KDA) has completed a landmark revenue-generating rooftop signage project in the heart of downtown Toronto, for Skye Media Advertising, a newly established, outdoor media company. Working to complement the architectural and historical features of the building, KDA was responsible for securing city approvals, designing and project managing the implementation of this impressive, multi-media display set atop the newly revamped Hard Rock Café. Accommodating a variety of advertising opportunities and corresponding budgets, the mixed-use signage boards consist of one large four-colour LED screen, two tri-vision boards, and three large, back-lit format graphics boards all housed within a dramatic, metal work structure, and accented with custom designed light-projecting beacon tips. "Located at Yonge and Dundas, Toronto's busiest intersection and number one visitor destination, the revenue-generating signage is highly visible to a large volume of vehicular and pedestrian traffic, offers advertisers a truly innovative format, and as a result, can demand premium rates," states Jeremy Kramer, Principal and Creative Director, KDA.
