Kramer Design Associates Creates Canada’s First Multimedia Entertainment Tower
	Toronto, Ontario – September 2004 – Kramer Design Associates Ltd. (KDA) has designed a landmark entertainment beacon for the Yonge-Dundas area in the heart of downtown Toronto. An integral part of part of Cadillac Fairview’s redevelopment of the Toronto Eaton Centre, the 18-storey multi-media tower is positioned to become a major attraction for the City of Toronto.
	The first of its kind in Canada, the tower incorporates integrated video and audio, synchronized moving displays and choreographed lighting effects, making it unique in its ability to offer a true multi-media show experience. The tower offers more than 7,500 square feet of communication and advertising space, including:
		• Two 40x8-foot real-time, text-based news tickers • Two 40x60-foot TriVision displays - the largest in Canada • 50 4x6-foot scrolling panels, creating a 40x30-foot image • One 40x30-foot full-color, high definition S10 LED screen • Eight light columns programmed for animated color changes • Integrated audio system
	State-of-the-art software control systems allow advertising to be programmed across the entire structure’s five media displays for a prescribed period of time, or displayed as random, individual messages.
	Designed and project managed by KDA, and currently under construction at the southwest corner of Yonge and Dundas, the tower is scheduled for completion for November 2004. Major transformations have taken place and continue to develop in the area, including a multimedia signage program atop the famous Hard Rock Café, also designed by KDA.
