Toronto, Ontario - February, 2002- Casino Rama, Inc., a Chippewas of Rama First Nation casino resort, has retained the office of Kramer Design Associates Ltd. (KDA) to develop a custom themed slot signage masterplan to revitalize and provide design consistency to their gaming floor. KDA will re-merchandise new and existing slot games, with exciting original graphics and signage, and create updated signage and visuals for their table games. "KDA's design mandate is to ensure that our game signage reinforces the investments already made in overall interior design theming, while creating a highly energetic, kinetic, and entertaining experience for visitors," says Jeremy Kramer, Principal and Creative Director of KDA. In 1996, Kramer Design successfully worked with the newly established casino to provide comprehensive, native-themed branding, graphics, signage and wayfinding for all exterior and interior facility amenities. Game merchandising and branding specialists, KDA have extensive experience designing innovative and interactive gaming floors, slots and out-of-home game environments. Their game environment designs have garnered international praise, most recently for Microsoft, where the MechWarrior4 received the Microsoft Marketing Innovation Award and is slated for installation in entertainment centers across Canada and the U.S. Operating 24-hours a day, seven days a week since July 31, 1996, Casino Rama is Ontario's only First Nations commercial casino. The Casino offers a complete entertainment experience with over 2,100 slot machines, more than 120 gaming tables, seven unique restaurants and a world-class 5,000 seat Entertainment Centre. Currently under construction, a 300-room all-suite, full-service hotel, which will include two additional restaurants, a spa and health club facilities. The hotel is scheduled to open in June 2002.
